I have upgraded from the E-520 to the E-30. Apart from magnesium body and water proofing, the E-30 is far superior to the E-3 and may I say i am very pleased with this camera. But I wonder how much further this jostling for front place between camera brands will go on for. lets face it the digital SLR's today would have 6yrs ago been worth $1000's. Now today we hear arguments that this camera has 5 frames per second and this one only has 3.5, or the noise of this olympus is more than a nikon, but lets be honest here, the people making all this noise and complaints are only amateurs, the differences between some of these camera's is only slight and while they lack in one area they excel in other areas. These critics ARE ONLY AMATEURS and if they were really professionals they would be looking at much better cameras like the Leica S2 Digital SLR etc.
